The Choir of the Ukrainian Catholic University visits Caucasus
 Stritennia ("Encounter"), the choir of the Ukrainian Catholic University , visited Armenia and Georgia for two weeks in August 2004. At the invitation of Archbishop Claudio Gugerotti, apostolic nuncio to Armenia , Georgia and Azerbaijan , and Catholicos Karekin II, head of the Armenian Apostolic Church , students and staff members of UCU came to the Caucasus . During the visit, UCU Rector Fr. Borys Gudziak met with both the Armenian catholicos and Catholicos Ilia II, patriarch and head of the Orthodox Church of Georgia.
