Volunteering
Teach in Ukraine - Each summer nearly 20 volunteers travel to
Ukraine to teach English to Ukrainian Catholic students. Learn about the Byzantine Rite in
this exciting part of the world!
Host a Ukrainian seminarian or
Catholic student - Todays Ukrainian students have grown up without an
experience of many cultural and economic institutions typical of successful communities in
free societies. By helping in North American parishes and service agencies, students see
how vibrant programs work, contribute their own energy and skills, and improve their
English. Please consider hosting a Ukrainian seminarian or student this summer! Let us
know if you are interested, contact us at ucef@ucef.org.
Material Support
Serving one another is one of our easiest
ways of thanking God for the many gifts we have been given. In particular, we thank our
"good stewards" for their willingness to share financial gifts and to devote
their time towards our cause. By contributing to those in need today, they are truly
making an investment in the future of Ukraine and the Churchs work there.
The Ukrainian-Americans who supported the
Church through 50 years of persecution are continuing their generosity in an exceptional
way. And now other Americans are learning about Ukraines needs as well: about
three-quarters of our donors come from outside the Ukrainian community, including Roman
Catholic parishes across the country.
